Call for workshop proposals - Deadline extended to 1st November, 2024

Thank you for considering proposing a workshop and presenting at the congress. The contribution of presenters is critical and we value your input greatly.

Abstracts in this category should propose a workshop relevant to midwifery and reproductive health. Workshops should aim to increase delegates' capacity and knowledge. They can take the form of theoretical sessions or skills-building/practice sessions. The focus is on transferring knowledge through intensive interaction with the audience

Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the online submission system by October 15th, 2024 - deadline exgended to 1st November, 2024

Submission guidelines

Workshop proposal should be structured as follows - max. 1.000 words:

  • Explain the reasons for the workshop and the objectives of the workshop.
  • What is the added value of organising the workshop?
  • What is the coherence between the presentations in relation to the topic of the congress?
  • Describe the format of the workshop.
  • Summarise the main impact of the proposed workshop in two short messages.     

The Congress language is English; your abstract and presentation should adhere to this.

Evaluation procedure

All submitted proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Each proposal will be scored on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Is the subject appropriate for the Congress?
  • Are the workshop objectives clearly stated?
  • Can the objectives be achieved in the 60 minutes allotted for this workshop?
  • Is the information new and innovative?
  • Is the overall quality of the proposal sufficient?
  • Is there an audience interactive element in the workshop?
